Dropship companies can offer cheap products to selling companies, in
the form of dropshipping, or to both retailers and the public. Most
dropshippers only deal with manufacturers so that the dropship company
can afford to offer cheap prices.

Drop shipping is a selling technique were the retailer does not
keep goods in stock, but instead transfers customer orders and
shipment details to either the manufacturer or a wholesaler, who
then distributes the items purchased directly to the customer.
Retailers usually only provide either a catalogue or a website
so that customers can see the items to be purchased. Drop shipping
also means customers recrive the goods quicker, since only one
warehouse will pack and ship the product. This can reduce total
inventory management and shipping costs. These cost reductions
can subsequently reduce the price to the consumer
Dropshippers that deal directly with the public are generally
in no frills buildings, or even work from there homes.
